Zheming Hu (Jiujiang University, China)Closing Development Prospects and Challenges of Sport Industry in the Digital Era In recent years, the sport industry has undergone significant changes due to the impact of digital technology. The development of digital technology has created new opportunities for the sport industry, while also presenting new challenges. One of the major prospects of the sport industry in the digital era is the ability to reach a global audience. With the growth of social media and streaming platforms, sporting events can now be broadcasted and consumed by audiences around the world. This has not only increased the popularity of sports but also created new revenue streams for sports organizations. However, the digital era has also presented new challenges for the sport industry. One of the main challenges is the need to adapt to new technologies and stay up-to-date with the latest trends. This requires significant investments in technology and infrastructure, which may not always be feasible for smaller sports organizations. Another challenge is the need to balance the benefits of digital technology with the traditional aspects of sports. For example, the use of technology in sports, such as video replays and VAR (Video Assistant Referee), has been controversial due to concerns over its impact on the fairness and integrity of the game. In this context, the conference aims to address the following main agenda. Of course, various topics, other than those in the agenda, are welcome in the free presentation session. - The Use of Wearable Technology in Sports Performance Monitoring- The Impact of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality on Sports Fan Engagement- The Role of Social Media in Athlete Branding and Fan Engagement- The Future of Esports: Opportunities and Challenges for the Sports Industry- Cybersecurity in Sports: Protecting Sensitive Data and Preventing Hacking Attempts- Digital Innovation in Sports Stadiums: Creating Engaging Fan Experiences- Big Data Analytics in Sports: Improving Performance and Decision-Making- Digital Broadcasting and Streaming Platforms: Expanding Access to Sports Events- Ethical Considerations in the Use of Technology in Sports- Digital Marketing in Sports: Leveraging Technology to Reach a Global Audience- Improved athlete performance through the use of wearable technology and data analytics- Increased global reach and engagement through digital marketing and social media- Creation of new revenue streams through esports and digital content distribution- Enhanced fan experiences through virtual and augmented reality technology- Increased accessibility to sports events through digital broadcasting and streaming platforms - How to use digital technology by eisure participants- The impact of digital technology on Leisure participantsPaper submissionImportant DatesPaper submission deadline: April 31 2023Paper acceptance notification: May 10 2023Deadline for registration and payment: May 20, 2023 Registration is compulsory for all attendees and presenters.
