The hottest issue in academia these days is convergence. This flow is rapidly developing around the US and Europe. Convergence means creating new value by combining existing fields and areas.

It is an activity that overcomes existing limitations, solves problems faced and opens up new areas. From the middle of the 20th century to the 21st century, the flow of convergence between science and technology have been developed.

Despite excellent sports scientists working mainly in Asia. there is no integrated academic organization that can promote exchange among sports scientists.

- Moreover, there are no related societies that can provide important knowledge and information for Asian sports science, and there is an urgent need for the foundation of a new academic organization that will integrate and study the various fields of sports science.

The Asian Society for Sports Convergence Science will play a leading role in discovering sports-related issues in Asia and encouraging research to provide the knowledge and information necessary for sports.
